01The address and access
Walk the route from the nearest place you can park. Consider luggage, deliveries and access for potential building work. Visit at different times: the atmosphere of a lane is as much a part of your decision as the riad’s interior.
02The building and its spaces
Look at the courtyard’s light, the stairs, movement between floors and terrace privacy. Ask about past work, stated areas and available information on the roof, utilities and damp. A renovation project deserves a separate technical assessment.
03Your intended use
A personal home, a place to stay or a hospitality project: define your purpose before comparing. Have the property documents reviewed and the steps required for your intended use confirmed by the appropriate professionals. Attractive presentation alone does not establish feasibility.
Are riads always available in your catalogue?
The listings above reflect currently published properties. If no riad appears, we are not advertising one as available. You can still describe your budget, preferred area and plans through our bespoke enquiry form.
How do I compare a restored riad with a renovation project?
Compare their actual condition, remaining work, access and your timeframe. Ask what has been restored and set aside a separate budget for the work still needed, to be costed by the relevant professionals.
What should I include in my search?
Tell us your purchase budget, intended use, number of bedrooms, preferred areas and viewing availability. Mention whether you would consider renovation work and where you can be flexible.
